Hi

I am running OpenKM 5.0 and the installation went fine and everything but there is a problem. I cannot get thesaurus working, not even when i have edited the OpenKM.cfg the way your wiki described it. I am haveing specifically problems with kea.thesaurus.tree.childs and kea.thesaurus.tree.root.

I am trying the same exaple as described here: http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Thesaurus as per instructions i pasted the code into the OpenKM.cfg. And there is also an other problem, all user accounts gets deleted every time the .cfg is saved and Java server restarted.

OK,

First, about deleting users, read http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Quick_Install the red box, it's explained there why it happens
Second the information in http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Thesaurus is only orientative. You could get different queries depending your rdf xml structure. Thesaurus is not a trivial configuration, not easy, you must dedicate some hours understanding it, read some papers to propertly configuration. That depending if you use created thesarus by you, or something existing ... the query could be very different. The example query is valid for http://aims.fao.org/website/AGROVOC-Thesaurus/sub

I suggest first understanding other OpenKM concepts and at least working with thesaurus, it'll be more easy and less frustrating, understanding thesaurus is hard job. Specially if you want to make automatic key extraction models based on it ( some weeks if it's the first time you see it ).

Us with thesaurus we started with what you can be found here http://www.few.vu.nl/~wrvhage/oaei2007/agrovoc/. Understand thesaurus is a world by itself. The agrovoc_2007_OWL.zip file constains the xml file with thesurus terms network. I suggest delete some terms or create your own based on this structure, because here there more than 70.000 terms ( and that's the small version ).
