Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

I have been trying to run the jasper report in openKM (version-5.0-RC1).But I'm getting the following error while execution:

Class: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException
Message: org.apache.xerces.impl.io.MalformedByteSequenceException: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence.

I have created the report in iReport 3.7.5. Can some one point me how to resolve it?

Try with OpenKM 5.0 (final release) or attach the report here to test myself the error. I have created several reports and never seen that error message.

Thanks for the reply.I have tried to run .jasper file previously and i got that error.But when i run the report with .jrxml file I was successfully able to run the report.But the report gets downloaded in pdf format. Is there a way to see the report in browser itself?

If you want to run the .jasper be careful with the iReport version used to generate this file. We use JasperReport version 3.5.3 in OpenKM 5.0 and JasperReport version 3.7.6 in OpenKM 5.1-SNAPSHOT.

Thanks for the reply.Is there a way to view the report in browser itself?Is it possible to pass the parameters to the report from openKM? or do i need to customize for these features?

OpenKM 5.1 will generate report in more formats, not only PDF.
