Hi i have a doubt here, i previously had downloaded OpenKM 4.1, and these are the steps i did to make it to connect to Mysql Locally, i first created four databases okmActivity, okmAuth, okmworflow, and one more, then i modiefied the openkm.cfg to make it connect to Mysql, and then i modified the openkm-ds.xml file to make it point to these databases, and also checked the login file. Deleted the repositary and restarted the server it was fine..

Now in 5.1 RC 1 can i make it connect to the same databses since i already have users added in it, and want to use the same database rathar than adding them all again and assign roles? Also is the procedure the same for 5.1 RC1 as i see
there is a file called mysql-ds.xml, do i do my connection changes in here and delete ioenkm-ds.xml so it points here?

Please help me out i am very confused

Actually there is no OpenKM 5.0 stable version released. Once released, we will document the migration guide from 4.1 to 5.0. Note: actually there is a migration guide from 4.1 to 5.0 in the wiki, but is not definitive.

I thought 5.1 RC1 was the stable version, however could you please tell me approximately how long this would take to get the migration guide from 4.1 to 5.1 for both the databse and the repositary

We estimate this week or next releasing 5.0 stable, then will starting making documentation for migration.

Althought we understanding there're a lot of people waiting for it, we must be patient, we need some time to ensure all is right.

Only OpenKM 5.0 with RC1 exists no version avaiable as OpenKM 5.1 RC1, it may be misspelled.

Have you configured OpenKM 5.0 with MySQL?

On which platform(OS) you are running OpenKM5.0
