Is there a way to have openkm log things like user login, logout, file access, addition, and other interactions with the system to the server log files? is there an openkm log level that will include this information?

Go to Administration > Activity log and will be able to search by several log events.

This activity information is in a table called "activity", you can use this data to generate reports or so. Why do you need a log file?

because i would like to watch it in the background along with server activity, to make sure everything is running smoothly

If there any problem, an ERROR (or WARN) entry will be inserted in the JBoss log.
