Hello expert,

We know that we can add a file and index with a button, we select the file and submit.

But I want to know if it is possible to add automatically list of files from directory. So, we select a directory (for example "My Documents") and OpenKM index automatically all files contained in the directory.

Is it possible?

In OpenKM 5.0 ( we'll release a beta at monday ) you've got a button ( last on right ) with can uploading from desktop directly ( drag & drop ) files or folder. You can test in our online demo.

Thanks for the reply.
I try but that does not works(demo system). Is it my fault? I clic on the last button "File Uploader" but nothing happend.

It's available at source forge from today.

When you click on last right button in toolbar must appears some applet ... can you not seeing it ? take a look at your java console

I tested the new version 5.0 but there are a lot of issues with my OS.

My PC: OS Windows 7 64 bits

The new version is compatible with my OS? Version 4.1 worked well.

You should increase the memory allocated for the JVM:

I am having the exact same problem. Before version 5.0 was working perfectly on my 32bit windows 7 machine. now on a new 64bit windows 7 machine I cannot get OpenKM working without the perm error. I am trying to make memory larger but to no avail yet.

64 bits applications use a little more memory than 32 bits. How many memory have you assigned to java?
