Hello,
I've created a user and add the needed IMAP information in users properties. Test the connection was ok, but there is nothing that is synchronized after hours.
I use cyrus2.2 imap server and put INBOX as the foldername.
What's wrong with this ?

Thanks in advance
Christoph

Found this as I've not read my mail for a short tim ;)
Do you plan to change this and have an import for older mails ?
Will it be possible to read mail with another program too ?

Thanks again,
Christoph

IN 5.0 we've added importing with pop3 and we've included filtering ( in similar way as you filter in mail clients ). The idea is put some filter in mail account and import in some openkm folders. For doing it the best is using some general mail that is used to send with CC in all mail you want to be archived.

Ok, so my idea would be to use procmail as filter and send mail via helper program over webservice.

Really you need some minimal java program that reads your mail server and sends mails across webservices. Take a look at our svn, you can see some examples in java ( not importing mail ) in trunk/openoffice

Will do that if I've tested all the rest.
When saving an attachment in taxanomy is it possible to crosslink this to the mail ?
The way now I have no chance to check where this document is from, so a cross link to the mail would be nice or do I have missed something again ?

We expect to release OpenKM 5.0-Beta early next week. Please, test the import mail feature and feel free to propose any improvement.

In this new release of OpenKM we have also added the possibility to implement extensions. We have developed an stapling extension with enabled your to link documents, folders and imported emails.
