Deployment of OpenKM.war has not been successfuly ... do you got in that server other services running on port 8080 etc... you've got something that seems hangs correcting jboss start up.

hi jllort thanks for the reply :)
no other service running on that port, i tried to run : xxx.xxx:8080/openkm/
it gets no connection.
Do i need to install tomcat also..?
what other packets do i need to run openkm..?

thanks,

NO NO NO,

OpenKM comes with all you need.

Are you running sun jdk 1.6 ? and is default java ... if not set java_home in run.sh ( at starting jboss you can see which java version is using for running ).

yes i already install jdk 1.6,
im using this yum install java-1.6.0-openjdk to install sun-jdk
so, it will automaticly installed and configured the sun-java-jdk.
and i placed the openkm folder in my webserver document root.
is there anything else i missed..?
:( :(

thanks,
edward

There's nothing else. Delete server.log file, start jboss, stop jboss and upload here to take a look full log file

The context is case sensitive, you must write "/OpenKM" with upper case

already check the case sensitive and it seems correct :(

Running OpenKM it's really easy, only need jdk sun 1.6.X installed and run jboss, nothing else ... you've got some configuration problem in your server or similar, we can not help more without connecting to your system and that's a part of our technical supporting for our clients.

I only can suggest :
1- Revise your OS configuration, services etc... ensure it not runs in http://localhost:8080/OpenKM ( if runs here and not in your IP, then you've got other problem, you've missed reading some wiki information about http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Basic_ ... _knowledge)
2- Try in other server, DMS might be the only application on a server I suggest install some computer with gnu linux Ubuntu, there it's really easy installing OpenKM specially if you want full features ( open office, preview tools, etc... ) in a Centos, Fedora etc.. can be done but needs some extra time installing or compiling packages
3- Thinking contracting support ( you can contact us using website form http://www.openkm.com/Contact/)
