Hi
I use webdav to upload and version multiple files. The problem is when i copy a new file version using WEBDAV/WEBDRIVE. Keywords in the new file version are lost. I don’t know how to avoid this situation. It doesn’t happened when i upload new file version using standard gui functionality but it doesn’t satisfy me.

Simply you copy a same name document using webdav ( really you're not editing with some editor no ? )

Yes, I only copy a same name document using webdav (WebDrive Tool). Then keywords lost.
When i edit and check-in document by Office Plugin or GUI upload and check-in functionality, everyting is ok. Keywords from previous document version appear.
I'm using OpenKm v. 4.1

When you copy a document using the web interface, the keywords are not copied. You copy the content, not the associated document properties.

Ok, coping a file into new repository folder do not copy keywords. So, uploading new file version (with same name) using webdav lost keywords, but do not lost all properties (e.g. notes). It is bug or normal? can I fix it, configure some system properties or something like that?

I checked online 5.0 demo version. Problem still exist ;/.

As I said in a previous post, this is not an issue. This is the desired behaviour.

Ok, i understand. For me its a problem, because application works in different way when i want to do same thing - upload a new file version by web gui or webdav.

Sorry, I don't understand you. Do you mean that copying from webdav works different than copying from web-gui? In this case, we can call this a bug

yes, It is.
Please make this scenario:
1. Upload file (eg x.txt) to root node using GUI
2. Add keyword to this file
3. Open root node using WebDav
4. Copy file x.txt from hard disk to root (in Windows override file) - formally you upload new version.
5. Look GUI - new file version exist 1.1 but keyword missing

When you upload new file version using GUI not WebDav, everything is ok and keyword still exist.

Will you resolve this problem in final 5.0 version?

You're wrong,

Copy runs exact in webdav than in UI. Metadata in both cases is never copied, only document, that has not been changed and it'll not be changed because is how must run. The idea of copy is not getting all history, metadata etc... of a document, it's only copy the file nothing else.
