Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

Hi everyone, i'm a student of software engineering from roma3 (italy)
i have to write a small presentation on openKM
and i have some question for you...
i hope you can help me...

can you explane the versioning of this DMS (is it similar to time machine? or i have only a list of changes, with the author and some info ) ?

is there the possibility of customize the metadata??

and an extra feature needs to be added enabling the upload of big files with the ability to resume after an internet connection crash. (WebDAV, SFTP )
