Hello,
if I have loaded up a new document (for example a word doc) and click then on the tab "preview", I have to wait a different time (several seconds) till the preview has been shown.

Is it right, that the previews of the new documents are generated first, when someone clicks on the tab "preview"? Or start the system directly after the upload with the generating process?

Is it possible to change system settings to fasten the generating process or change the starting time of generation?

It would be the best, when the previews would be generated directly after the upload to prevent, that our employees have to wait several seconds to preview a new document.

Documents in a web browser only can be previewed basically in two formats: PDF or Images. The time to convert a document to PDF may be considerable, that's why the first time may take a lot.

I do not suggest send everything to the conversion because you may overload the hardware and in the most scenario does not have sense. Imagine you upload 200 files -> really are you going to preview all of them after you have uploaded ?
