System restricts uploading file with longer names - system limits 257 characters including directory

Dear Team,

We are facing issue on loading longer files names into OpenKM especially with steep directory structure.

As these are govt. regulatory files of bulk in numbers; trimming or reducing is not possible.

Pls help us.

For example:

File of PDF not loading

Filename: B30 - 103339MAS-3 45x125 White Alu 100ml 18Bar BAD_3A8E8102-F525-4B86-ADDD-796A5A386D532022-09-21T08-24-55.pdf

\root\Regulatory_Team\Sterimar renewal KSA\Sterimar Blocked Nose\Sterimar Blocked Nose\Product Verification & Validation\Biological Evaluation\Supporting information\ B30 - 103339MAS-3 45x125 White Alu 100ml 18Bar BAD_3A8E8102-F525-4B86-ADDD-796A5A386D532022-09-21T08-24-55.pdf

this totals to 277 characters

255 characters is so long. What is the error you get in the openkm.log file
Probably you will solve it increasing the size of column NBS_NAME in the table OKM_NODE_BASE
