Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

I'm looking for a way to add documents automatically from the local file system directly. Like a hot folder or watched folder. I'm open to other methods to inject documents into the system except I'd very much like to avoid using mail as that method.

Also is there the possibility of a two way sync back out to the file system that mirrors the same folder structure of the document storage?

I should say I'm running this on linux and using CE Version: 6.3.11
