This kind of servers are not the best option for installing a DMS because the hardware required for a sharing server is not exactly the same requirements need a DMS ( because of conversion features, indexing process, database required to manage metadata, etc... ). Anyway I know there're some users in this scenario. A best approach will be a standard server and use the server as storage ( we also do not suggest using NAS for it purpose, but maybe will be better scenario than installing software there ).
