I would like to know if its possible to have a specific email only sending notifications, regardless of the user logged in? I turned off the Boolean value for send.mail.from user value but then the emails are coming from the user.name@machinename, and its not using the value given in conf.xml.

Any way to rectify this? or to change the user.name?

In the Administration > configuration parameters disable the parameter with the value send.mail.from.user
