If you change ROLE_USER and ROLE_ADMIN you must patch the application, the appContext.xml file I think is into /OpenKM/WEB-INF
Before integrating the login you should work in the configuration parameters when you succeed in the integration with that section then integrate the login changing the OpenKM.xml, it will be easier.
