Problem in Installing openkm using its git source code community version

I am trying to install the openKM in my local from git source code. But the War file is not working and so many errors are popping up.
Can anyone help me to get it in up in my local

I am using --> ubuntu 17.02 and I am using tomcat9.

Evan the direct installation of community version didn't work for me

You should use the Tomcat bundle from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/openkm/files/common/ because we have applied some few changes ( extra configuration files like OpenKM.cfg, OpenKM.xml, some libs into tomcat/lib folder and some configuration into conf/server.xml ).

Also you might consider using our OpenKM development environment ( based on Virtual Machine ) available at https://www.openkm.com/en/download.html what comes with everything configured and ready to be used.

If I wanted to deploy it how I can do that say may be in Heroku, any suggestion will be appreciated.

As I said you might downlaod the tomcat bundle what is yet configured ( some extra configuration files ). If you want to continue in this direction consider taking a look here https://docs.openkm.com/kcenter/view/ok ... ebian.html
