how to migrate from 6.2.3 to 6.3.2?

Hello forum,

I was running OpenKM 6.2.3 (Linux-Community Version) for years with great pleasure and therefore I did not attempt to upgrade it.
Now I purchased a new hardware and installed the latest version 6.3.2 (Linux-Community Version) on it.

What is the best/easiest way to migrate from 6.2.3 to 6.3.2? I have only ~1 GB of data.
Can I do it without intermediate steps of installing all 6 following versions of OpenKM on my old machine?
Which datas do I need to transfer physically to the new machine after migration is completed?

Thanks for your support and kind regards

To be sure all will going right, you should upgrade step by step.

From 6.2.3 to 6.2.4, 6.2.5 until 6.2.6
Then from 6.2.6 to 6.3 and step by step again until version 6.3.3

Follow the guide from here https://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Migration_Guide ( it's the long way, but also the most safe ).

Hello jllort,

Thank you for your reply.

I am now searching for achived versions of OpenKM.war files.

6.2.4 found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/openkm/files/6.2/
6.2.5 found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/openkm/files/6.2.5/
6.2.6 not found
6.3 found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/openkm/files/6.3/
6.3.1 found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/openkm/files/6.3.1/
6.3.2 found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/openkm/files/6.3.2/

Are those sources correct?
Where can I download openkm-6.2.6-community-war.zip?

I plan to do the full migration up to 6.3.2 on my old machine. What are the steps to transfer all my datas physically from my old machine to the my new machine finally?

Hi, 6.2.6 was a nightly build, really never was released ( I will remove from the migration guide ). Really you must migrate from 6.2.5 to 6.3.0

I have updated the migration guide yet.
