Hi,

We are using OpenKM v 6.2.5
At link - http://www.openkm.com/en/product/compar ... sions.html
its mentioned that Size of Repository support is "Small" and Users is "few".
This does not give us clear picture of number of documents or size of repository the community edition would support.

Please provide details of max repository size and number of users the community edition would support.
I believe if the repository size exceeds the limit, we would get performance issues.

Also we would like to know the impact of repository size on the TextExtractor process. We are seeing that the text extractor is not scanning all the documents, and this might be because of the size of the repository.

About repository size, there's no software limit on community edition like there's no limit of number of users. This question has not an easy answer, almost installations are quite different and each one has its own characteristics, and also the concept small, medium and large can get distinct interpretations for each user.

I consider huge repository from 1 milion and upper, medium from 500K and small less than 500k. Why this values, well in professional edition, usually from 500K file must do some optimization ( database, parameters etc... ) and with one milion and upper sure. In case community version we know some users have repositories with 200-300K

Where is the limit ? well it depends on each case, what are doing your users, how many concurrect, the total number of documents etc... Tell me what you have in mind, number of files, users, type of documents ( MIME ) and estimated repository increase and I will suggest some hardware for it.

About indexing problem, please add other post for it and we will talk about it with more detail.
