I am using OpenKM 6.3.0 community edition and using the uploader to upload files. However, I am getting VERY frequent IO errors when uploading. (using chrome) I can restart the upload multiple times and it will eventually upload. There doesn't appear to be an issues in the log file... is there anything I can try?

Did you detected some sequence what always cause the error. If we're not able to reproduce it it's quite dificult to solve, if error is on code. Affect all computers or only yours ? do you got some antivirus, ad killer, etc.. some special network configuratgion like proxy ?

I tried this with 2 separate computers, a desktop on the LAN and a laptop on WLAN. I used to LAN IP address and not the WAN DNS entry. I still had the exact same errors (as shown below). If I run the same file through multiple times it will eventually upload. I am not using a proxy. I have Panda Antivirus on the desktop and Mcafee AV on the laptop. I disabled Panda AV on my desktop, got the exact same result.

On my laptop I WAS running Java 7, when I tried it I got IOException instead of IOError on upload. I updated to the latest java (8u31) and started getting IOError as well. I got the same error with both Chrome and IExplorer (IExplorer 9 on Laptop). I don't have a network proxy setup.

Can you test in our online demo ( demo.openkm.com ). Althougt is professional version I want to be sure before taking a look at source code that the problem is not in your side.

The online demo works fine for me, no issues or IO errors when uploading files.

And error not happens always, only sometimes ? could you try doing tests from openkm server to discard networking on computer software problem ?

FYI, for anyone interested, I solved this issue by backing up my databases, uninstalling openkm, and re-installing openkm, then restoring my databases and everything started working without issue.
