import All E-Mail Folders in original order

Hi All

I'd like to import all folders of my E-Mail account in original order. So if I have a folder /Inbox/projects/xx , the I'd like to see that structure as well in OpenKM.

Does anyone know how to configure this? I can only do it in chronological order it seems.

Thanks!

Are you using Outlook client and OpenKM, or Microsoft addins to import mails?

Hey jllort

I'm using the "Mail Import" feature in the WebGUI. For each user I configured the IMAP account and mail is imported regularly. That works great, but I'd like to have the original folder structure in the Email tab on the left.

Can mail also be imported with a Thundernird plugin?

Could you share some screenshot of the original structure and openkm imap configuration ( remove from screenshots private information ). Only I want to see what you understand for imap folder and how do you configure in openkm ( I want to see edit account view )

Hey jllort

I have made you some screenshots:

webmail.jpg: The folders in the Webmail: Posteingang (Inbox), Kunden (Customers) and Projekte (Projects).
okm.jpg: The structure in the okm Mail tab: 2015/1/30
config-okm.jpg: the config for this mail account in okm

I hope this is what you needed?

Thanks!

You must configure 4 mail account, one for each folder:
Posteingang (Inbox),
Kunden (Customers)
Projekte (Projects).

For each account set destination folder ( and if you do not want be grouped by year/month/day , disable this option ). Take in mind got a lot of objects on same folder will cause problems rendering. If for example you got 2000 mails into same folder, you'll got a lot of time for rendering 2000 objects in the browser.

also when you create and object is fired event ( mail creation ), with it in combination with automation can define some catalog logic.
