Hi,
we evaluated OpenKM 2.0 in the past months and found it really awesome, but we want to wait for webdav support.
i\'ve read that youre plan to release it in the near future, can you tell me a vague date when there will be a first RC around?
thanks and keep going with that great work!

OpenKM 3.0. RC1 is yet done.
The previous release was estimated to be done tomorrow ( Thurday ) but for unplanned travel it has not been possible. Tomorrow pavila comes back and I hope on friday it could release at source forge RC1.
OpenKM 3.0 it\'ll come back with
- Webdav
- Workflow ( jbpm )
- DashBoard
- Document notes
- Users news ( new user results on query search timer, like a push user news service )
- Web adminitration for all editions.
- Jasper reports ( now with few reports but we\'ll make some poll to knowing which are more interesting )
- Others ...

wow, that sounds really nice :)
I have another question, I wrote a custom LdapPrincipalAdapter for 2.0 with an eclipse configuration according to
http://www.openkm.com/index.php?option= ... oper_guide
- will my LdapPrincipalAdapter be compatible with 3.0 and will it be possible to compile 3.0 on that eclipse configuration?
thanks =)

I think there\'s no changes between LdapPrincipalAdapter between version 2.0 to 3.0 we maintain all methods. I\'m not sure if we\'ve added some new, but I think we\'ve not do it.

On OpenKM 3.0 we\'ve changed IDE and make some refactoring. I think you\'ll not be affected by refactoring but new IDE is some great change.
I\'ll need some days to set new instructions how to set and compile correctly with new IDE, you\'ll must be patient for it.

OpenKM 3.0 runs very slow in Internet Explorer 7, but works perfect in Firefox 3.0, a bug you know about?

Hi,
I have OpenKM 3.0 up and running and the improvements are really nice!
But I wonder which URL i have to use in order to mount the repository using WebDAV. I couldnt find any links in the GUI or documentation and not even any entrys in configuration files in OpenKM.ear :/
thanks!

As you says thunfors OpenKM run\'s slowly on IE, always has been more slowly than firefox 2.x or upper. We\'ve incremented OpenKM with more code -> more js -> but for my point of view is not a reason for it decrement, we\'ve changed from GWT 1.4.6 to 1.5.3 it could be some reason here. We can do anything actually to get better perfomance on IE it\'s not on our hand.
Anyway IE is a bad browser implementation, specially the js motor, we recommend everybody to use other browser than IE, not only for OpenKM, for any web browsing purpose.
msteinhoff about WebDav support now is only on enterprise version not on community, we still not migrated it enhancement there.

Perhaps in the next major release. We need to provide some enhancements in the Enterprise version because the people need a reason to spend money in OpenKM. And we need money to continue OpenKM development.

Well, Is it possible to try webdav on the online demo?
It\'s possible that my student organization thinks to buy a enterprise license from you, but I need to know that OpenKM is have the specifications that we required :) We need easy tools so our people on the office can use the system like a mapped drive in \"My Computer\" and all our student associations can use the webbased system to upload their documents and protocols and so on.
Is the license one year at the time?

I also am seeking details. The buy now page only has support pricing, and not the pricing for the actual enterprise product. Please advise on enterprise pricing, both with and without support contracts.
WebDAV is also essential for us and we will need to be able to test this feature, as well as have it well documented.

You can test this feature in the online demo, or you need a sort of OpenKM Enterprise demo?
