I tried to install OpenKM under Windows 8.1
It didn't start with default configuration in SETENV.bat
After some research I've found the values which enabled the start:
Code: Select all
set JAVA_OPTS=-Xms128m -Xmx512m -XX:PermSize=64m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m -Djava.awt.headless=true -Dfile.encoding=utf-8
Do you think that above configuration may effect to functionalities of the program? - now it starts, but after downloading of the file and clicking the EDIT option edition doesn't start (in contrast to demo version) - at bottom of the screen I only see the question for opening or saving the file on the disk. After that, when I try to update the file from the disk, I obtain the message "THE SYSTEM HAS GENERATED THE ERROR, "C:\... (filename here): Document name is diferent", even when the file was not changed !!!
What may be the reason?

In my system instaled is JAVA version: jre-7u51-windows-x64

Here are several questions in same post, should write several posts for it and do not merge in all-in-one !.

- About JVM are poor values I suggest 1024 or 2048.
- About file name error, you use IE, there's some bug on IE, you must disable this option system.document.name.mismatch.check ( Administration -> Configuration parameters ) or change to other browser ( I suggest firefox or chrome ).

Thank You very much for the advice. Under Chrome system acts perfectly!
The only inconvenience during a file updating is impossibility of increasing of the major version of the file (like in demo). There aren't such option. But I understand, that this is a feature of community version. Isn't it?
