Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

Hello,

I tried to follow to course from OpenKM concerning installing JBoss, JBPM in order to create my first own workflow. Well, I hope someone's out there to give me some hints/help.

I use Linux Mint 14, 64bit. I was able to install JBoss and the JBPM module within. However, if I start JBoss, open the newly created sample project, the software hangs...

This is my Java environment:
java version "1.7.0_45"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_45-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode)

Question: Where can I find a log file from JBoss? Need to know what's going on. Or does anyone have similar issue?

Are you talking about JBoss Developer Studio, aren't you? I have installed v5.0 and works fine with Java 7.

Yes I did. Exactly according to the free online video course.

Did you try to login to the sql server from the OpenKM server in command line with the same information?

Look at the catalina log and the access log of the sql server

next week we will release portable development environment I suggest waiting for it.

I am unable to update OpenKM 6.2.6 to version 6.3.0

After update OpenKM stops at “Loading user values” and nothing happens.
Tried to clear cache on browser didn`t work. I have java 1.7 installed on Debian.
Rolled back to version 6.2.6 and it`s working fine. ????

I also just wonder about it

The Portable OpenKM development environment has been released http://sourceforge.net/projects/openkmportabledev/ hope with it will be easier.
