Incorrect presentation of enabling of functions in the Trash

Hi,
while working in the Trash area with the aim of Purging a Document, the following presentation of allowed functions occur:
a) Without selection checkbox marked for the Document:
a1) the right-click Purge option is shown as available,
a2) in the drop-down Edit menu: Purge option is shown as available.
b) With selection checkbox marked for the Document:
b1) the right-click Purge option is not shown as available,
b2) in the drop-down Edit menu: Purge option is not shown as available.
This behavior seems not functional and is opposite to that occurring for Documents in Folders of the Taxonomy area.
Best regards,
Armando
(The tests have been made with version 6.2.4.)

The Community version still has no full support for massive actions (those which checkbox) and this is why detect these kind of inconsistent behaviour. We are expecting contributions in this sense but nobody seems interested in send us code patches.

Hi pavila,
it's probably out of scope of this thread, but your answer makes me ask a clarification, if possible, about your development processes and the relationship between the Community and the Professional versions of OpenKM.
My understanding was that the Professional Version had more features but that the common features were identical in the Community and Professional versions; with the "stable" Community version being updated less frequently.
Within this model it made sense to provide feedback concerning the Community version because it had meaning for all the OpenKM sw (both Community and Professional).
Do the two versions follow substantially a common developement/maintainance process or are they maintained by different groups of contributors?
I see that current Community version is 6.2.4 while current Professional Version is 6.2.17: what relationship exists between the version numberining of the two threads? Should I assume that malfunctionings discovered in version 6.2.4 Community have almost surely been fixed in such an advanced development path in the Professional version?
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
Armando

We've got two main branches one for community and other for professional. We make major update from professional to community one time during year, after it we made corrections and include some features if community users provide us. Professional version is avaialble to openkm developers which includes some of our partners and community to some of openkm developers and all community users who will want to extend features on it.
Actual professional versions are 6.4.1 ( major update that have only some customers ) which includes latest features and 6.2.17 which is the most estable professional version which includes less radical features. Community version as you says is 6.2.4

jllort,
(I apologize for the late replay)
Thank you for the clarifications.
I see that a lot of correction and improvement releases separate the development paths of the two versions, so a question comes spontaneous to ask. Is the target for the update from professional to community this year approaching or has already been defined?
Many thanks,
Armando

I think will be at ends this year or initial months of 2014. Basically we're in process to make major updates in 6.4.X version which still nobody has seen. When we consider we arrived at point we wish then we will starting with community release.
