MS Word Addin - can't check-in file after edit

Hi, please help.

I am running 6.2.4 and word 2007 with addin. After editing the file, i checkin the file. the log shows it is not checking in. it did checkout the document for local editing. Any idea? Thank you.

You saved the document before click on check-in ? ( could you test save document and then click check-in ).
Other question, you do it in a single operation, you do not close document and open again no ?
Can you see if document is stored int My Documents/OpenKM folder

Thank you again.

Basically, after I loaded the document (checked-out), i edit it. Then save it. (can find the file in my document\openkm...)
After that, I check in the file. It closed from MS Word. It is no longer in local drive. I check from browser, the EDIT icon is still there.... But file was not updated. From log, it shows it only login and logout without checking in the file.

During checkout, it did show login, checkout, logout...

I have this exact same issue - both the Word & Excel plugins - Office 2007 - OpenKM 6.2.3

EDIT: I re-downloaded the plugins & re-installed. It is working fine. I believe I had version 6.0.0 of the plugin - 6.0.1 works great.

Hi,
I have attempted the installation of the Word Addin found in the OpenKMCommunityAddIn-6.0.0.zip file found at the URL specified
on a Windows XP(SP3)-based computer with MS-Word 2003.
The procedure seemed progressing well but ended with message
"Installation Incomplete: The installer was interrupted before OkenKM Word Addin could be installed. You need to restart the Installer to try again".
I executed the procedure both running the setup.exe file (388 KB, no date Modified info) and the OpenKMWordAddInSetup.msi (1600KB, no Date Modified info)

At the end of the process, the following files can be found in the installation output location:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\OpenKM\OpenKM Word AddIn\
- TBD3B.tmp, 11KB, Date Modified 3/19/2010 3:11 AM
- TBD3C,tmp, 2002KB, Date Modified 2/2/2012 6:30 PM

Can you suggest how to overcome this problem?
Also, I am not sure the installer that the can be found in file OpenKMCommunityAddIn-6.0.0.zip is that of version 6.0.1.

The actual community addin version is 6.0.0.

I've download and installed community version from our website and there's no corruption file. I think can be a problem with older XP Os version or similar in your case. Ensure you got .net 3.5 or 4.x installed in your OS or other kind of update that can be the cause that the file will not be able to install.

In my documents you should have a folder called adx-express or with similar name, there's a log related to execution. In your case you're not able to install ... I do not know the cause, can you try in other computer.

Error is clear can not stablish connection to server:

Can you connect via browser to the usr ? ensure you're writting correctly take a look how should be written http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Word_Addin
