if you're on Windows you must install SWFTools, the file what comes under "tomcat/bin" works only for Linux not Windows.

I am facing problem with open ofiice. I am running OpenKM 6.2 on Windows server 2003 machine. I have installed Open Office 4 in the machine. I am using MS Office 2013 for editing documents. I have set path as "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\program\soffice.exe" but still I am getting the error. The error is not because of pdf2swf tool. Please help me on this.

For anyone trying to make it work with openKM 6.3. Installed in windows 7, with minimum requirements

-Install OpenOffice 3.4.1 (or 3.3). It will not work with 4.01 or 4.1.1
-Edit openkm.cfg with: system.openoffice.path=C:/OpenOffice3/program/soffice.exe (I installed the openoffice in C;\OpenOffice3) (Also notice the "/" instead of " \" in the path)

-In the administrator tab put the following parameters:
-system.openoffice.path String C:\OpenOffice3 ------ notice that is the same path, but just this. Also notice that this is " \" instead of " / "
-system.openoffice.port Integer 2002
leave the openoffice server blank

restart the server (be sure that your swftools work)

Is quite strange because on some windows installation we got running version 4.X, did you used the standard installer of version 4.x also ... which is your OS version and did you added sigar path into your global path environment variable ?

The PDF preview works properly with Open Office 4, hasn't given an problems. The Configurations in admin panel seem OK. Although, i am not able to convert the .txt or .doc/.docx files in pdf. I've attached some images for reference. Additionally can anyone guide me on using tesseract ocr with OpenKM?
