I've got an office full of Macs. Should the applet function on MacOS? When I open it in Firefox I get a security warning which I accept and then nothing further.

Take a look at java console to see what happens. You might have version 1.6

Other user have reported applet problems in Mac platform. I don't have a Mac to try, so I'm not sure why it fails. The applet works on Windows and Linux, and should work in any IE/Firefox installation with the Java Plugin 1.6 installed.

I too am on OS X
10.6.6

the uploader doesn't work for me under OSX but does under Linux

I can post the output from the java console (rather chatty) here are some of the things that seem to stick out

i get the following when starting the upload applet

just to update, using my linux setup I get the same file not found errors in the java console but no URI error

This error message is not important. I don't know why happens, because the "refreshFolder" is called and works:

On the other side, can you reproduce these errors in the online demo? File uploader should work in MacOSX (don't tested) but the Scanner applet I'm pretty sure that does not works. At the beginning of the console log, the applet version is printed. Please, tell me which version is shown.
