Hi all,

My OpenKM is v5.0. I'm a Traditonal Chinese user.

When I tried to select a folder and export to zip file, I found that only english named files can be export, but all of the Chinese named files are disappered! Nothing files have been downloaded.

Besides, when I zip the Chinese named files and upload to the folder, it decompress automatcially, however, all of the Chinese named files become "??????". If I upload the file each time. It have no problem.

Is it a bug or anyone can help to fix this problem?

Thank you~

First, better if you upgrading to 5.0.1

Which OS version are you using on that server ?
Could you test, in demo.openkm.com ( put two files on folder and export to zip file ) ?

After updated to 5.0.1., download is okay.

However, when I zip several Chinese named files and upload to OpenKM. Extract the files, all file named become "╗y╜╒╣BÑ╬.doc".

How can I fix it?

Thank you.

Can you try on our online demo at demo.openkm.com

Upload the zip file without decompressing and try decompressing too. If not runs give me the document zip path, and I'll testing in our environment

Zip format does not really support UTF-8 encoding until the last specification. And event it support, every client does it in its own way. So the chinesse support depends on the program (and version) used to generate the zip. In our test, 7zip was supported (I don't remember right now the version tested). In the development version of OpenKM we added support for JAR archives, which are native UTF-8 compliant.

Thank you for your help.

I tied my 7zip 9.2 client(windows) but it's still doesn't work.

Anyway, hope that OpenKM will support for JAR coming soon.

Thanks.

Is already implemented in the development version, but not fully tested. Will be included in the next major OpenKM release.
