Using SetEncryption method in OpenKM

Hello,
I'm attempting to encrypt documents in OpenKM using the setEncryption method with some cipher text, and I've noticed the encrypted icon appears. However, I'm uncertain if the documents are truly encrypted. geometry dash

I can download them without any cipher text through both the OpenKM front end and API, and I can also preview them in the front end. How does the encryption process work, and how can I confirm whether the documents are genuinely encrypted?

The setEncryption method in the API does not encrypt the binary file, only mark at database level the document as encrypted ( it is information about the status of the document, not an action over the document ).
