Hi,
I have installed OpenKM 6.3.12 on an Ubuntu 24.0.4 server using the installer OKMInstaller.jar and creating the database manually everything seems to be working fine except the roles. I have three roles in the roles list ROLE_ADMIN, ROLE_USER and ROLE_SECURITY_RECURSIVE (the latter in a futile attempt to solve my problem and after reading some posts here) .
I can assign permissions based on users, read, write, and security all working fine. I wanted to assign rights based on ROLES instead, but if I click on any ROLE, for instance ROLE_USER so it has a blue background (selected I suppose) and then click on the arrow pointing to the right then nothing happens. If I do the same with any user then it appears on the right panel as expected.
Any ideas what may be the cause of that? or how can I fix it? In a previous installation 6.3.4 the same works with no issues, is this a problem with 6.3.12?
Regards,
Mark

I figure it out!! The arrows are wrong! The arrow pointing to the left moves ROLES to the right and the one pointing to the right moves ROLES back into the pool of ROLES.
Solved!
