OpenKM Scanner Configuration

Dear All,

Kindly I would like to inquiry about the systematic approach in scanner configuration in OpenKM. such after I've installed the scanner driver and it works fine out of OpenKm. but when I try to open it from OpenKm I got an error "No Scanner Device Detected" . as in the below picture .

As we had explained in serveral post, we consider scanner applet deprecated ( 1-2 years ago ) basically for two reasons: the opensource project which is the based of this feature had been discontinued 3 years ago and secondly applets are death. For it reason we had created Windows scanner tool, I suggest you use it rather than applet solution. Take a look here https://www.openkm.com/en/download.html

Why if we consider deprecated is still present ? well, in almost cases it still was running right ( althought after applets death will no longer be able to use it ), that's why we it was still present in UI. We encourage no expend time on it.
