Hi,

is it possible to add new roles apart from the existing ones (adminrole & userrole) and is it also possible to configure these roles for access rights?

Please help.

Thanks & Regards,

Yes you can add new roles.

To add new role, simply edit some user, typewriting new role name an add ( it'll appears in list and is added as new role ).

Access right -> connection is for UserRole and can not be changed
About taxonomy grants ( rights ) can be set by you as your needs.

I try but not work

Administration tab > create a user : intranet with a specific role : ReadOnly

Desktop tab > select okm:root folder > Security Tab > Update
Add intranet user and ReadOnly group

Login with intranet and JBoss returns me an HTTP 403 error

I believe that every user would have either "adminrole" or "userrole" (or both). Otherwise, OpenKM can't load the system.

UserRole is mandatory grant to any user can get access to OpenKM, is a connection grant and always must be assigned to any user. But you might not propagate this role in your repository and delete it from okm:root at first time login with administrator user to prevent this propagation.
