Scan feature not working

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with the scanner option. When I click on the "scanner" symbol in the icon bar, the "scan & upload" window opens. But after entering a file name and clicking the "scan & upload" button nothing happens.
The dialog just closes and that's it. My scanner works properly with other scan software such as "simple scan". I have set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable in my .bashrc file to all appropriate paths where a libsane.so file resides, so that it can be recognized by the application, but this didn't help. What else could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

sane libraries are deprecated and without maintenance by project author, that means in some cases will not going right. I suggest easiest way to solve it without using toolbar, simply share openkm with webdav and connect to your linux http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/WebDAV_access

Then simply use scan with your OS application and save in webdav folder destination you wish.
