Seeking technical details on configuring and mounting WebDAV to XP and OS X -- or configuring using OpenOffice as was described.
Some tips on WebDAV: OpenfOffice WebDAV support goodness depends on which version of OpenOffice are you using. We have to make more testing in this issue. WevDAV support in Windows XP is very \"special\" and buggy.
So you have two options here: if you use a Linux cliente, the recomendation is to use \"davfs\" to connect to OpenKM WebDAV. It mount the repository as a local resource so you can access the documents with any program.
If you use Windows, try \"NetDrive\" (we have tested version 4.1) This is a program that maps a remote WebDAV repository as a local drive (it assign a drive identifier like \"w:\") and you can access these resources as a local drive. This program can be downloaded from http://www.freewarereview.info/pub/netdrive.exe This is an abandone-ware software from Novell but works very well. There are some other commercial solutions availables. See http://www.freewarereview.info/2007-01/ ... rives.html for more info.
The URL to mount is http://localhost:8080/OpenKM/repository/default .
