Erron on preview of XLS and ODS

The configuration is

I have 2 strange problems/trouble...

I can preview from PC Client in intranet some kind of files jpg, doc, txt, dwg, and more others but CAN'T preview only file.XLS and OpenOffice files
(the path is right!)
From the Server where is installed the OpenKM 5.1.7 there aren't any preview

Server with Windows Server 2003 R2

If I install OpenKM with the same configurations on Virtual machine with WinXP or Win7 all works correctly...

WHY???

For converision we're using openoffice to convert document to pdf. Windows version and windows environment are not the same on linux and windows, that could be one reason.

I suggest you try converting documents in both platforms ( the same ) only to pdf ... to detect if it's some file format ( not converting .xls, some extension ) and when you detect the file types, could be a problem of word version ( upper version could not be supported for some of openoffice instance ).

take a look which version - openoffice or libreoffice - do you got installed on both computers ( are the same ) ?

I don't understand... I have the same version of all software (on the 3 machines) and if I try to convert all files to pdf I haven't any problem.. but in the Windows Server 2003 there aren't previews..


For now I solved by creating an ad-hoc virtual machine to use openkm. Is not a bad solution because if the program crashes (the program gives errors often after administration changes) I can restart shortly the guest machine without blocking the main services of hosting server.

could you try this .xls in our online demo at demo.openkm.com ( if there's some problem on xls version ? ), which office version you use ?
