customize the search result

hi, i have 2 features request here :
- 1) Now in 5.0, can we customize the document search result ? for a example, if i added a property named 'Release Date' by Property Groups feature ,could i see this column and sort by it in the search result window ?
- 2) can we display the full document names,especially when the documents names are too long, in the result window only by click the bar line '|' in between the two columns title ?
