multilingual content translation

Hi,

Does OpenKM has features to manage multilingual content and API interface for translation providers?

Sorry if answer can be found in forum or elsewhere, I could not find a relevant entry in neither the forum or the documentation/wiki. All mentions of translation I found concern the UI of OpenKM, I am interested in features relative to documents managed, not the UI.

Thanks,

The translation content is like joomla, diferents documents linked one each other and metadata for extra document information like language. The linked document information is actually stored in extended database DatabaseMetadataUtils is used to retrive metadata information take a look here http://doxygen.openkm.com/5.1.x/d7/dc1/ ... utils.html and herehttp://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Database_Metadata

The document link utility is only as OpenKM professional extension ( http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Stapling )

I have added in our issues and entry for doing more direct way for getting translated documents in a pack http://issues.openkm.com/view.php?id=2226

Or you can add a language ID to the document name. For example:

- report-en.pdf
- report-es.pdf
- report-ru.pdf

Also every OpenKM document has an internal property where the detected language of the document is stores, but currently can't be used from the user interface.

Don you have any proponsal on how this feature should work?
