So we have a performance question.

We would like to store many documents about 150-200k in one category. We will have only 3 upto 4 categories.

Which sceneraio are you expecting to work for our environment and data set :

1. apply categories.

2. create single discriminator property value.

3. or apply metagroups.

From Java SDK we need to search those documents by one or two properties and extract from single category.

Our environment is:
- OpenKM 6.4.53 with Professional Extension.
- SDK for Java 2.6

Because you are a user of professional edition you should use customer support website either public forum. Anyway here the answer. In your case I suggest discard the use of categories I suggest using metadata field or if you have few categories also could use keyword ( but when possible always I suggest metatada ).

If you want we analyze your case with more detail, please open a ticket in open customer support website.
