Hi all,

insteads of image is previewed through the contextual menu that required so many mouse click. This is not really convenient if user needs to select picture(s) from a folder with a hundred of image files. Thumbnail view may help.
I have the OpenKM Community-Version.

Unfortunately this feature is only present from professional version 6.4

I will describe our community releases policy. Basically from older professional version we are gradually releasing features until we have released what some years ago was a professional version. Actually version 6.3 community is based on 6.2 professional, on the next release we will sharing full version ( that means, community version will be the professional version of tree years ago ).

There are several reasons why we are doing it in this way:
- We can concentrate almost efforts of new features in two releases ( always are two professional versions, one stable and another one where we are working, actually 6.4.29 and 7.0.3 ).
- Community release is always well tested and stable.
- In community version we solve few bugs and introduce some improvement ( next one will be a better look & feel ).
- WE do not creating features what have yet present in another version ( the philosophy is waiting until it will be arrived the time, when it will be shared ). If some user makes an interesting feature, we review it and usually we incorporate in the source code.

You can be agree or not with our policy, but us we with is a good balance and until now has been going right. Here you have three options, be waiting until arrived the time when will be released, think on professional or take the source code an make it. If a users provide us some feature ( although exist similar solution in professional ) we can introduce in community without problems. The problem for us, is that migrating code from professional 6.4 to community 6.3 is not easy, usually between main branches there are a lot of differences what make it very difficult.

Hope my answer can help to you in some way. If you decide for third track, tell us and well try to guide you on how doing it ( the classes you might change, the portable developement environment etc... ), for us is always welcome any feature what makes better community release.
