Hi, I have tried searching the forum on this topic but can't seem to find any related topic.

Is it possible to create a readonly user or role in the system? I am thinking of allowing selected 'visitors' to my openkm but only allow read access.

Thanks in advance, best regards,

Hi!,

You can do it. You must do the following:
1. All users that you want to have read access only must have ROLE_USER and ROLE_SECURITY_RECURSIVE assigned.
This last role allows you to show a check to inherit security.
2. The administrator user must go to the security tab in "okm: root", mark only the reading check and mark the recursion check.

Finally, the users who access openKM can only see documents and folders.
