Is there a way to create a "checkout" button in a form? That way the user can manually perform the checkout from within a form.
OR
How can I perform a checkout for the user assigned a task prior to them uploading the file?
What I'd like to happen: user1 says who they want to update the file, the task is assigned to user2, then user2 uploads the file, and then the file should be updated.
What currently happens: user1 says who they want to update the file, the task is assigned to user2, then user2 uploads the file, but is unsuccessful because the document is checked out by user1.
I use a checkout action on the transition between the decision node and the task node and I've tried applying the checkout action to the task node once the task is assigned and performing it as you enter the node. Both still have user1 as the person who checked out the document (both locations are noted by the pink arrows in the pic)
Any ideas how to make this work? Thanks!
