can be new property group be inherited by its sub-folders?

Post by andy_yzj » Thu Apr 28, 2016 4:54 pm

I added new property group (testProperties) to a folder (testFolder), and the "testProperties" will appear as a Tab.
i. can I change the order of the tab?
ii. can the "testProperties" be inheritted by its sub folders or the files under it?

Thanks!

Should doing minimal source code changes for adding sort attribute in property groups. About inherit to child, this feature is not present. Could be done something similar with automation events. You should create and action what each time a property group is added or changed, update all childs.

This is a good starting point for automation http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Automation

Also I suggest our portable dev environment, what it comes with some samples. https://sourceforge.net/projects/openkmportabledev/
