The error is clear, seems the application is not able to get the database connection. Check your database and ensure the credentials, etc... are set in the server.xml file. Remember any change in this file require to restarting the OpenKM service to take effect.
1- I suggest doing a full backup before trying to upgrade the Tomcat ( you must upgrade to the lastest tomcat 8.5.X -> can not upgrade to tomcat 9.X or upper ) 2- In this URL https://docs.openkm.com/kcenter/view/okm-6.3-com/tomcat-update.html we try to explain the concepts you should consider to upg...
1- stop the openkm
2- delete all the files in the log folder
3- start the openkm

Hi on-off, as I explained in my previous reply, this plugin only works in the professional edition and does not have sense in the CE because this behavior is not implemented there. You should update the code for its purpose.
Only can answer about our REST API not what happens in other services. I suggest using our SDK for Java with a small sample totally isolated from other tools and trying to reproduce the problem ... if the problem does not happen there ... then must be in another place. https://docs.openkm.com/kcente...
This is the most common configuration with the AD and I suggest you use it for your integration https://docs.openkm.com/kcenter/view/okm-6.3-com/active-directory-example-with-login-based-on-filtering-users-by-roles.html The idea behind is that OpenKM acts as a reader of your AD, your AD has all the ...
Remember after updating the profile you should refresh the entire UI, because the profile is not updated on the fly and it requires loading the UI again.
1- Close the openkm
2- delete all the files into the logs folders
3- start the openkm and try to access to the application
If the error persists, zip the logs folder and share here

Remember to take effect about any kind of change in the server.xml file, the OpenKM service must be restarted only at the startup these changes take effect. I think that could be the missing point.
First, both OpenKM should have the same version ( I suggest upgrade 6.3.11 to 6.3.12 and then go ahead with restore process ).
If you are watching the same documents it means the database dump has not been restored in the target.
