The best option is access OpenKM (JBoss) through apache using mod_proxy or mod_jk. If you want to expose JBoss directly to Internet you should read JBoss documentation or search in the JBoss forums about securiting it. Also you should learn some basic (and advanced) tip on securiting an Ubuntu Linux...

If you use Linux, you should try mc (Midnight Commander) to manipulate the OpenKM.ear archive. You can add and modify its contents without unpackin and packin it.

You have to set the repository.home[/p] property in the OpenKM.cfg file.

1&2. You can create and assign custom property groups in Community and Professional edition, but this WebServices API is only exposed in Professional edition. 3. Both on Community and Professional you can make search using XPath queries using the findByStatement() method. The XPath query should ...

1.- Actually, property group API is not exposed in webservices. This is a feature included in our Professional edition.

2.- The setProperty method can only change a few document properties, like the \"keyword\" property. Perhaps is a dirty-and-quick workaround.

3.- Yes, you should.

The code is mostly equal to 2.0b so I don\'t understand the slowdown. For the IE7 we are working on this incompatibility. Until this issue is solved, use Firefox.

Yes, you have to modify the file login-config.xml, so look at JBoss documentation site for more info.

This is a two-phase process: 1.- Configure JBoss to use this JAAS module (refer to JBoss documentation) 2.- Configure OpenKM to get users and groups from this source. Here you need to create a class that implements the es.git.openkm.core.PrincipalAdapter interface and modify the OpenKM.cfg file to t...

En realidad es un poco más complejo que todo eso. Hay que tocar cosas de varias partes. COm oya te he dicho, es experimental y no estará funcional hasta la siguiente versión (o más).

This seems to be a JBoss related issue. Check file/directory permissions and Java version:

Code: Select all
$ java -version

Puede ser, es una característica experimental y no completamente funcional por lo que veo. Por algunos lugares del codigo fuente debe haberse puesto \"system\" en lugar de hacer referencia a la configuración.

Users and Roles are used in many authentication methods. I don\'t know how this JAAS manage the roles. Perhaps using system user groups?
