I don't really understand. I know the problem. Now I'm looking forward to solve it. As you see in my curl request I already call the AuthService /login method. I also deliver username and password (parameter -u). It's put into BasicAuth header "Authorization: Basic bmV3dXNlcjpuZXd1c2Vy". A...

Ok, now I got time to test. I updated to the latest sources from sourceforge. Here are the steps to reproduce. 1. log into okm using okmAdmin and create a new user (I called him "newuser" with password "newuser") -> do not log into openkm using web ui! 2. call rest endpoint and s...

Ok. Steps to reproduce: 1. Configure LDAP in OpenKM.xml and inside OpenKM Configuration 2. Set defaultRole to "ROLE_USER" in OpenKM.xml <beans:property name="defaultRole" value="ROLE_USER" /> So, in our configuration, no LDAP user explicitely owns ROLE_USER. But every u...

Hey guys, I noticed a bug in OpenKM. When trying to login using OKMAuth.getInstance().login(username, password) interface for the first time I got a server error indicating, that the user doesn't have the right to access okm:trash. The problem here is that the user did not get the default role defin...

"user lacks privilege or object not found" is a pretty clear error message. Try to set the following in OpenKM.cfg:

Code: Select all
hibernate.hbm2ddl=create
And also check the user rights on the table. He should have anything from create to insert.

Have a look inside the logs/catalina.log file. Are there any errors?

Anyway. I would suggest to use tomcat7. Current OpenKM community isn't even running in tomcat8. So I would assume it also won't run in tomcat9 either.

This is working.

Edit: I solved the problem. Indeed it was a CXF dependency problem. I documented the solution in JIRA: http://jira.openkm.com/browse/OCM-6 Would be nice if you can modify community sources as described. - old post - Hi, using SDK is not a solution. Because SDK is only available for Java and PHP. I g...

Hi,

I did it. I didn't have time to commit it back to OpenKM developers yet to let them integrate it into community edition. I will do so asap.

I would suggest you wait until these patch is reviewed an integrated again.

Only for some. All users still have read only access. I'm looking for a same mechanism like for folders in the taxonomy. Or simply a way to say "User A got access to propertygroup 1 and user B got access to propertygroup 2"...or something like this. Right now, I only found the way to activ...

Hi, is it possible to set permissions for metadata? E.g. we want users to browser repository by using metadata view (on the left side where taxonomy etc. is located.) But if we activate this tab in the users profile, he sees all propertygroups. We only want him to see propertygroups he got read acce...
