Today we've released new office addins compatible from 2000 to 2007 versions ( tested with 2003 and 2007 ). I'm not sure it'll run with 2010.

Removing the indexer options you'll not be able to indexing pdf ... You lose some use there. you might add some more memory in jboss , take a look at java params.

I have not any ideas about which is your problem, specially if it's a fresh installation. You could try stop jboss, delete repository folder and all OKM... files into server/default/hypersonic ( in order to create fresh databases ) Take a look at that databases in developer guide at wiki it's explai...

1- Try directly with /OpenKM/admin
2- About login problem, you could enable in log4j, debug to login class to know what happens and revise login-config.xml, must be defined other jass in jboss-web.xml that must be present in login-config.xml

1- stop jboss
2- delete actual server.log or rename
3- start jboss

and upload here all server.log with the errors ... because it's necessary to see al trace log.

We're yet implementing in OpenKM 5.0. it'll be a new input type ( now have date, text, and link it'll be the next )

Of course, context is case sensitive you must write OpenKM not openKM
