RMI is java only. You should try WebServices for better integration. RMI support won\'t be available in a short term release. Why RMI i so important for you?

JBoss, by default, only allow local connections. So you need to start by passing this param:

Code: Select all
$ ./bin/run.sh -b host.machine.ip

Actually is not a good idea because it requires some important source changes. The best way is using webservices. In a near future OpenKM will expose RMI by default, but not now.

No, no, no. OpenKM import from LOCAL filesystem. You need to copy the files to the server and make an import. Also you can try OpenKM 2.0a an try the new feature of import from zip.

OpenKM runs very well in Ubuntu Dapper. I\'ve imported a local folder with spanish caracters in files and folders and there is no problem. The LANG var is ok. Can you send me a ls -lR of the local filesystem?

You can try it using Java Networking Properties

Code: Select all
-Dhttp.proxyHost=x.x.x.x -Dhttp.proxyPort=yyyy
I\'have no idea about passing the proxy password.

Anyway you can disable WebServices removing the files
  • WEB-INF/webservices.xml
  • WEB-INF/OKM*.xml
  • WEB-INF/wsdl
from OpenKM.ear -> OpenKM.war.

CUPS configuration is related to GNU/Linux system administration, not OpenKM related. If you install the cups-pdf package, you will be able to print a documento to a virtual PDF printer. The PDF will be written to disk. If you want the PDF be imported into OpenKM you have to do it manually or progra...

The new JBoss needs an internet connection when deploy webservices. It is a known JBoss issue, so you need the server connected to internet or deactivate webservices in OpenKM.

Did you set JAVA_HOME? I see you use Windows, which version?

Anyway I see some Connection timed out errors. Has the machine access to Internet? I don\'t figure why throw this exception.

Perhaps you should send the whole log file to me. :huh:

JBoss, por defecto, sólo permite acceso local. Tienes que iniciarlo así:

Code: Select all
$ ./bin/run.sh -b ip.de.la.maquina
