Hi jllort.

Thanks for your answer.
Ok, you are right, this makes sense to me.
Then, from my point of view there is still a bug: not applicable actions (reserve, update and maybe others...) should not be proposed to user when browsing in metadata section.

Hi. Here is a little bug, I do not know if this is the right place to expose it: Go in metadata section. Browse in it to select a document. (for ex, I have users as metadata field, so I select USER/Username then a document) I reserve the document from here but I cannot update it after from this same...

Hi jllort. In your last post, I understand that in community version it is possible to restrict property group update. When I look in documentation you refer to, I cannot see how to perform this. I only saw the reference to security mask to enable but it seems to be only available in professionnal v...

Hi jllort. We have rethink the category handling. In fact, as you said, the most appropriate would not be to inheritate category from parent category, but to have a search engine that could return results from child category. (To keep the same example, if I search for category= "primate" a...

Hi. In openkm documentation, I did not see any event linked to file category change in automation event list (http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Automation_events_table). Still, I who like to run some rules when category is added. What solution would you suggest to me? Thanks a lot. Regards Mountain73

Hi all. I entend to set up a complexe category tree. I proceed to some tests. With category tree folder, I was expecting a subcategory to inheritate from its parent category as this is usually the case: example a gorilla is an item of monkey subcategory, which is a subcategory of primate, which is a...

Hi pavila. According to me, this modification could be integrated for the following two reasons: 1- I doubt that this modification will not interest all users: when user download a document from openkm, he does not have any way to know which revision it was, unless he renames it or have implemented ...

Hi. Thanks for this solution, it helped us a lot: We used your solution for revision in filename and improved it a little: Revision filename is added in filename as in your case, but we also add it when downloading document version from history, and also when converting document to pdf. You will fin...
