Update translations

Hi Team,

We have some "garbage characters" for our OPKM installation. Basically, vowels with accents are wrongly displayed:

The procedure described here states (section: problems with character encodings):
Code: Select all
This process, as described here will destroy the OpenKM database and will create a new one. Be careful! If you want a non-destructive way of achieving this, you need to delete actual inserted translations and insert them again.
How could we non-destructively update our translations?. We use the default Hypersonic db.

Regards.

To update translation simply go to Administration -> Translations and from there you can export ( sql ) and edit values.
What openkm version are you using ?
Did you got the problem at the begining or later ?
The problem of bad characters is on OpenKM UI or other section ?

Hi,

Later, as we create the users.

The create user form let us introduce characters with accents, but once the changes are saved and we check the users panel they are shown as garbage:

What openkm version are you using ?
The screenshot you've captured is from users, not translations, the problem happens in other administration sections ?

Hi,

Version 6.3.

We thought it was translation-related, is this a system wide problem?.

Regards.

I would like to see it with a screenshot and explaining what are you doing to reproduce the problem. Could be a OS + tomcat configuration problem or some unknown bug.
