Can any one help me how to make scanner and file uploader working on my openkm-6.3.2-community

Which browser are you using ?
You need to have java jdk 1.8 installed in your computer ( take a look here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... index.html )

I have the same problem with 1.8 installed.

Which is your browser ? With chrome you will not get running because they have definitively removed the applets support. At the present you must use firefox or IE. In professional version we have yet removed the appler in favour websocket + java web start, but in the comunity this changes has still not yet arrived

im trying to using OpenKM throw Chrome and IE and Firefox ... all with the same problem .

i didn't understand what you mean .... by the way im trying with IE version 9 and Firefox 50.1.0 and Firefox 25.1 with the same problem



For java jdk 1.8 ..... can you send me link direct link for it ... im using Jave version 8 update 111 (build 1.8.0)

java version is correct. Check Java version at:

https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

And also take a look at your application.url and ensure it's configured correctly.

those function is not available in community version.

If you want to disable the error, you can disable those 2 function at Database

Scanner applet is still alive in community version but in next release we will definitively remove it. My suggestion is using Windows client scanner tool, you can download from our download section https://www.openkm.com/en/download.html
